It Snowed... Again!

Around 3:30 this afternoon (yesterday afternoon, if you're technical) it started snowing again!  And this time, it stuck around and it stuck to the ground! The snowfall stopped around 8:30pm, but we still have a pretty white blanket outside our house!

These pictures are in no particular order and haven't been touched up at all, they are just simple memories of our little evening in the snow. <3

I might do some editing on a few of them later, but for now, here they are, raw and fabulous.

For Haley, because she turned 14 today! (Again, yesterday if your're technical.)
Haley is our cousin on Jordan's side.  She lives in Greenville, NC.  This blog will definitely get to meet her, probably over the summer.  She is a very cool kid.

For my sissy, because she didn't get any snow.

Pop's Birthday Post (Finally)

You've seen a preview for this post, and now here it is.

Pop is our grandfather on Jordan's side, and he turned 65 on January 11th.

We had a pretty good evening, having dinner at Logan's Roadhouse, and then going back to Nanny and Pop's house to watch Pop open his gifts and then have ice cream cake.

These photos are a bit blurry, so please excuse that.  I am still learning my new camera.

The traditional photo of Aunt Linda and Nanny that seems to get taken every time we all gather.

Nanny and her Sugar and Spice!

Reading his birthday cards.

The night was very nice and family oriented.  Jason and Tara came, and all of us, except of course for Robert and Jordan, they seem to always be at work.  Pop had a nice night, and that's what counts.

I'm glad to finally have these pictures up.

Mouse Trap

Jordan and I LOVE thrift stores.  Thursday, we went our to breakfast with his parents and then went to a thrift store.  We found a few games and VHS tapes, but my favorite find from the day was Mouse Trap.

One of our favorite things to do together is play board games, and this one was one of my favorites growing up.  Jordan had never played it before, so we opened it (tonight, last night? I don't know, it's 4:30am, so you decide) and had a blast going around the board, setting up the trap, and capturing each other's mice!

Here is our game before and after the trapping, oh and here's the during part.

Ashlynn

My cousin posted these pictures of her baby girl, Ashlynn Grace, on Facebook tonight.  I am godmother to this sweet girl, and I miss her to pieces! They live back home in NC.  I love and miss you, Ashlynn!

Snow!

We got a little bit of snow last night/this morning here in Norfolk, Va.  It didn't happen until around midnight, but Jordan and I were waiting up, watching Frankenweenie.  His dad posted on Facebook that it was snowing, so we went out the front door and played in the snow and took some pictures.  It was really fun just playing outside at 12:30am with the love of my life with snowflakes hitting my face.  I'm a little sad that it didn't stick, but I'm glad we at least got to experience our first snowfall as a couple.  Here we are, in all of our goofiness together:

Get Well Soon, Norie!

As I have mentioned before, Michaila's boyfriend, James, has four younger siblings.  The youngest is five-year-old Norie.

Norie was born with some lung issues and had problems with her lungs collapsing until she was four.

Now, when Norie has a cold or anything like that, she has to stay in the house and do a breathing treatment every four hours.

Unfortunately, Norie is sick this week.  So, what do we do? What we always do, of course! We got her a present and went to give her some company for an hour or two!

Lacey and Norie opening Norie's bag of goodies right after we got there.

Right after she opened her gifts, Norie wanted to do some of the projects she was given.  So, I went to the kitchen table with Norie and Lacey and we painted, made stamp art, and sand art, and of course, took some pictures!  I love Norie's little snaggle tooth grin! She smiles even being sick!

This is how it turned out, before Norie decided to shake it.

The finished product.  LOL

The painting that Lacey and I did.

The stamp art and drawing that Norie made for me.

I love this sweet, sassy little girl.  Please say a prayer that Norie gets better really soon!
