Glitter

So yesterday, Michaila and Lizz brought home three pairs of plain shoes, three cans of glitter, and a can of spray adhesive and said to me "We are going to make glittery shoes!"  And that is just what we did!

Before

Michaila's after.

Lizz's after.

Mine after.

The mess!

Making the shoes was a lot of fun, but the really fun part was the clean-up process.  Laughter was everywhere, and so was three different colors of glitter! It was a party on the porch!

We got the broom out to sweep up the glitter, but of course, these crazies had other plans.

Say cheese! With a broom!

I love that these girls can have fun ANYWHERE, doing ANYTHING!

"La La La La La"

"Oh, Hey!"

Like I said, ANYWHERE, doing ANYTHING!

When the glitter was swept into a nice pile, we discovered that Lizz had glued these horseshoes into our porch.  I guess we have glittery good luck from now on!

Before we swept the glitter away, we wrote our names in it.

Lizzy Lizz!

KK!

Okay, so my sister-in-law literally saved a cup of glitter, because "YOU DO NOT WASTE GLITTER!"

The glitter that could not be salvaged...

The cup of glitter that Michaila saved.

Sparkly!

Shine Bright,
