Follicles

Today was the day that my MIL was able to get Michaila in at her OBGYN, so I went along for the appointment.

Her appointment was at 10:30 this morning, but we got there around 10.

They got her back pretty quickly and decided that she needed an ultrasound, but there were no openings at their office today, so they sent us to the Chesapeake office and said for us to come back after the ultrasound for a diagnosis.

Apparently you need a full bladder for an ultrasound.  I didn't know that.  One of those "you learn something new everyday" moments, I guess.

So, anyway, the OBGYN gave KK two SOLO cups of water, and we ventured to Chesapeake.

The Chesapeake office got her back pretty fast too, so Michaila was done with her ultrasound by 11:30.  We went to a drive through for lunch and headed back to the other office.

Once again they got Michaila back really quick, and we were all done by 1pm, and that's a latest guess.

The verdict? Follicles.

Michaila has follicles on her left ovary, so the OBGYN put her on Yasmin.

She started taking it today, so hopefully she will be feeling much better very soon!
